Clifford continues

It’s been a busy couple of weeks on site at Clifford, with my efforts focused mainly on the kitchen diner.

Here’s a before and after of the kitchen extension.

The skylight has been fully wired up so that allowed me to complete the insulation and boarding of the ceiling and subsequently the walls. This room has been handed over to the tiler this week to fit the stone flooring.

Half of the kitchen diner is a new extension with the other half being original. The new half has been plastered in gypsum with the older half plastered in lime. This doesn’t pose an issue for decorating as the client has chosen a clay based paint that is suitable for both plasters.

Good progress has also been made in the boot room, with just a couple of walls left to top coat in there.

It feels like this project is coming together now as I near completion.
