Clifford
Back at Clifford this week and last week, on this grade II listed building.
This has been an ongoing project for five months now and the end feels within grasp, certainly for my part anyway. There’s plenty of joinery and decorating left to do.
Last week the large skylight in the kitchen was finally fitted, allowing me to board part of the ceiling. Still waiting for it to be fully wired up though, so I can’t complete this room just yet.
Last week, I also all-but finished the final bedroom. Just the window reveals left to plaster, once the window is fitted. Here’s a before and after of the fireplace wall.
Work has commenced in the final room to be touched, the snug! New round, timber beads fitted on the chimney breast. Ready for a scratch coat of render.
Standby for more posts on the progress of this job as I move towards completion.
